How to Use

Step 1. Select a file

Click 'Choose File' and select a file you want to be recognized or drag & drop it in the upload form.
You can also choose wich part of your file to start the recognition from.
Step 2. Click on Recognize

Once you choose a file click on 'Recognize' to start the recognition proccess.
Step 3. Get recognition results

Get recognition results, like the song's title, artist(s) name(s), it's Shazam & Youtube links, as well as related and similar songs to it.

Musik Erkennung can proccesses all major video and audio formats and extentions, namely (.mp4 .avi .mkv .wmv .flv .mov .webm .3gp .3g2) for video files, and (.mp3 .aac .wav .flac .ogg .wma .amr .m4a) for audio files.

What's the file size/duration upload limit?

Max File upload size is 300MB.

My media has multiple songs in diffrent parts in it, Will Musik Erkennung recognize them all?

Yes, you can choose which part of your media file you want to recognize. As soon as you get a recognition result, youu can simply click on "Recognize another" and select a different start time to get it recognized.

Can Musik Erkennung detect melodically similar songs?

Musik Erkennung relies mainly on the general sound of the song to find mtaches, it only uses melodical fingerprinting as a fall-back solution if no matches were found for the sound, to try and find matches similar in melody.
